Whisky Smash
Okay, so you’ve had a Mojito before, but have you ever had a Whisky Smash? It’s like the iconic Cuban cocktail but with Scotch instead of rum. We also add in a hit of passion fruit syrup for an extra tropical kick.
Ingredients

50ml Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel
15ml Passionfruit syrup
4 Lime slices
ml Ginger ale
ml Mint leaves, to garnish
Equipment
Crushed ice
Spoon or muddler
Tall glass
Method
Muddle the limes and mint leaves in your glass, crushing the mint as you go
Add the crushed ice, Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel, and passionfruit syrup
Stir with a bar spoon
Top up with ginger ale and garnish with mint
