Ingredients:


  • 50ml Ballantine’s Finest Whisky

  • 12.5ml Italicus

  • 25ml Soda Water

  • 50ml Prosecco

  • Rosemary Sprig

  • Orange Wheel


Method:

  • Fill a goblet glass full of ice

  • Add Ballantine’s Finest and Italicus

  • Top with Soda water and Prosecco

  • Garnish with a rosemary sprig and orange wheel

Ingredients:


  • 50 ml Ballantine’s Finest Whisky

  • 6 Blueberries

  • 1 Seedless Lemon

  • 1 tablespoon Honey

  • 1 Lager/Light beer

  • Berries for garnish

  • Ice


Suggested Tools: Old Fashioned glass, shaker, muddler, shaker strainer, jigger, bar spoon and lemon squeezer
Method:

  • Add Blueberries to shaker and crush with muddler

  • Add Ballantine’s, Lemon Juice and honey to shaker

  • Fill shaker with ice and shake for 30 secs – 1min

  • Strain into glass filled with ice and top with beer

  • 90ml Ginger Beer

  • 10ml Fresh Lime Juice

Method:

  • Add Ballantine’s Finest whisky and lime juice to a copper mug or a highball glass

  • Fill the mug or glass with ice and top with ginger beer

Go for a classic serve this International Scotch Day with a Sazerac. This strong and smoky drink is similar to an Old Fashioned, but with an extra kick of Absinthe. Try our scotch Sazerac with a citrus twist that elevates the spicy notes of Ballantine’s 17 Year Old. Exceptional.
 
Ingredients:


  • 50ml Ballantine’s 17 Year Old Whisky

  • 30ml Peychaud’s Bitters

  • 20ml Absinthe

  • 10ml Simple Syrup

  • 40ml Water

  • Lemon

  • Ice Garnish: Lemon Twist

  • Food Pairing: Smoked salmon with lemon cream cheese and dill


Method:

  • Cut the lemon into long, thin strips.

  • Twist as much oil out of the lemon peel as possible before twisting into curls. Place them into ice moulds, fill with water and freeze overnight.

  • Create a flavoured liquid by combining Peychaud’s bitters, absinthe and simple syrup to water.

  • Place the cubes in the liquid or pour the liquid over the cubes to submerge and place back in the freezer for 24 hours.

  • Place a single ice cube in a tumbler glass and add 50ml of Ballantine’s 17 Year Old whisky.

  • Take your time to sip and savour. As the ice melts, it will accentuate the wonderful flavours of the whisky.

  • 50ml Ballantine’s 12 Year Old Whisky

  • 12.5ml Lime Juice

  • Vanilla Sugar

  • Fresh Ginger

  • Mint Leaves

  • Crushed Ice


Method:

  • In a Julep mug, muddle the fresh ginger with lime juice and sugar. If you like it sweet, go easy on the lime.

  • Add mint leaves, half of the Ballantine’s whisky measure and half of the lime juice. Add crushed ice and start stirring.

  • Serve with a sprig of mint for that herbal hit.

Method:

  • 1 Espresso Shot

  • Ice


Method:

  • Prepare a shot of Espresso and set aside to cool

  • Add Ballantine’s Finest and Cream Soda to a highball glass filled with cubed ice

  • Add the chilled Espresso shot, and gently stir
