Toasted Sweetcorn Old Fashioned

Ingredients

60ml Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel
4ml dashes of Angostura bitters
10ml Demerara charred corn syrup (recipe below)
Orange, to garnish
Equipment
Ice cubes
Rocks glass
Peeler
Method
Combine all the ingredients in a rocks glass and fill with cubed ice
Stir the ingredients to chill and dilute the liquid
Add more ice and continue to stir
Once the drink is about ready, take an orange and peel a large strip using a vegetable peeler
Twist the orange oils over the drink and place neatly in amongst the ice cubes
