Atholl Brose
This traditional Scotch tipple is centuries old. The Atholl Brose is an iconic Scottish cocktail that’s made with oats, water, honey and whisky. It’s creamy, classic and a real crowd-pleaser at dinner parties.

40ml Ballantine’s 10 Year Old
10ml Drambuie
35ml Oatmeal water
15ml Honey Syrup
10ml Single cream
ml Grated nutmeg, to garnish
Equipment
Ice cubes
Cocktail Shaker
Chilled glass
Method
Make your oatmeal water by soaking 3 heaped tablespoons of oatmeal in half a mug of warm water. Stir and leave to stand for 15 mins. Strain
Make your honey syrup by mixing 1 part water with 2 parts honey
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all your ingredients then shake well
Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with grated nutmeg
