How to make frozen cocktails at home
The blender does most of the work, but there are a few things worth knowing. Use plenty of ice to get that properly slushy texture and chill your ingredients beforehand so everything stays frozen for longer. If your cocktail comes out too thick, add a splash of the liquid ingredients; too thin, throw in a little more ice and blend again.
Making a few rounds? Blend them as you need them rather than letting a big batch melt on the side. Nobody asked for a lukewarm slushie.
However you freeze yours, there’s only one rule: don’t skimp on the ice.
