Like the clubs in every successful golfer’s golf bag, a Master Blender uses a range of tools to perfect their craft, in this instance, different Single Malts to create depth and complement the Blend. A higher proportion of whisky from the Glenburgie Distillery has been used to finesse this very special edition of Ballantine’s 17 Year Old. Much like a driver, Glenburgie Single Malt is known for its length & power.

Nose
Orchard fruits lead with crisp red apples and poached pear, along with grapefruit and a touch of lemon curd. Freshly baked malt biscuits, creamy chocolate and toasted coconut complete the nose
Taste
Juicy mango and green apples begin alongside vanilla ice cream and smooth nougat. Toffee and gingerbread provide depth before being wrapped up in subtle bonfire smoke
