Founded by Lu Chauke, Tanya Robertson, George Mokoena, Khusta Faku, and Carly Hendricks, Femmes and Thems are a collective passionate about empowering creative queer people by providing safe spaces.

The collective will be hosting a 4 week programme geared towards providing people who otherwise wouldn’t have the resources, to learn how to DJ for free. The True Music Fund support is being used to purchase equipment and pay professional DJs to come and share their time and skills with students.
