Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music continue to stand with music communities around the world with the launch of COLLECTIVE TV, a 12-hour live stream taking place as part of Boiler Room’s SYSTEMRESTART.TV: a 10 day online festival to support club- and sub-culture as the pandemic extends into 2021.
In 2020, we awarded grants to 20 music collectives at the start of the pandemic, COLLECTIVE TV sees a mix of these 2020 grant recipients, along with a selection of new collectives, present a 12-hour extended broadcast of audio-visual shows, combining talks, interviews, mixes and music videos.
In addition SYSTEMRESTART.TV will roll out a full programme of online activity: DJ sets, performances, talks, film screenings, virtual parties, masterclasses whilst Boiler Room’s production team will give seminars to students at London music and film colleges ELAM and LSA, giving them an insight into the basics of broadcast production and the inner workings of a music company. These seminars will be available to watch publicly online.
