First held in 2007, MTN Bushfire Festival was founded as a much-needed platform to nurture and grow the arts in Eswatini. With a variety of exciting stages showcasing the dynamic and diverse talent from Africa and around the globe that the festival is known for. From the legendary outdoor Main Stage to the intimate heart of the festival in the House On Fire Amphitheatre and the explosive electronic dance energy of the Ballantine’s Firefly Stage. immerse yourself in all that the MTN Bushfire experience has to offer with our pick of the legendary sets below.

Friday at Bushfire saw amazing DJs bring their passion and love for music to the stage. With the likes of DJ Musketeer spinning everything from Old School Hip Hop to Nu Africa, and Kreative Nativez deliver a set driven by percussion & melodies, click through to the Youtube playlist below to hear sets that will truly pierce you right to the core.

Saturday went HARD at Bushfire with another great set of DJs. Known as theKing of Amapiano,” Kabza De Small worked the turntables to deliver his unique production and sound. Followed by DJ Dilson (considered one of the best in Mozambique) and DJ Habias, whose passion for global music fuels his mixes. Each set showcased their unending love for the DJ craft. MTN Bushfire Cocktail

After a delicious drink to go with your MTN Bushfire vibes? Stir up our cocktail below:

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • 50ml Ballantine’s
  • 25ml of Grapefruit Syrup
  • 25 ml of Simple Syrup
  • 25 ml of Lemon Juice

 

Method:

Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Into a high ball glass, place some extra ice.
Pour the mixture from your shaker into the glass.
Stir, and enjoy,
