Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music Studios is a series of global residences covering unique scenes from eight different countries, with a simple mission: to bring fans back together on the dancefloor. Each residency will be unearthing the freshest sounds from each city with big names in the scene hitting the mic, along with community events hosted by local promoters, and educational talks and seminars led by industry pioneers.

Taking place across eight countries – Russia, Spain, South Africa, Ukraine, Cameroon, Colombia, Kenya, and the USA – True Music Studios features live performances, workshops, educational events and community experiences curated by cutting edge collaborators who are pushing local music scenes forward.

From Ms Nina curating a New Wave Perreo and Spanish Rap extravaganza in Madrid, to DBN Gogo bringing you Amapiano from Johannesburg and Kedr Livanskiy coming in live from Moscow’s Club, Hip-Hop and Alt-pop scene, audiences can look forward to pioneering headline acts as well as special guest appearances by those defining each local scene.

It wouldn’t be a Ballantine’s event without whisky. So we’ll be bringing along some of our mixology experts to host cocktail and whisky experiences including masterclasses and tastings. The main parties will also be fueled by the latest Ballantine’s creations from some of the top mixologists in the local scene, in moderation of course.
