Dedicated to music lovers, No Signal radio connects the black British diaspora to the world via radio, broadcasting 15 hours a day, 7 days a week attracting 122k listeners from across 166 countries.

Originally a DJ-focused offshoot of the RECESS event series, No Signal became known to the world due to the viral success of #NS10v10, a radio show that entertained thousands of people during the first lockdown. The pinnacle of this show was the Wizkid v Vybz Kartel show in May 2020, with almost 1,000,000 locking in to the show.

Now a fully fledged radio station, No Signal’s broadcast schedule is comprised of over 50 shows, curated to showcase the sound of the many Black cultures around the world. Over the course of a year No Signal have established the NS Yearbook – a campaign that champions the best artists of the year, turned NS10v10 into a live event and established the No Signal Academy for young black creatives entering the music industry.

As part of the Ballantine’s True Music Fund, No Signal were chosen by Jamal Edwards MBE to be the recipient of a grant to help support and further what they do within their community. They will use this funding to build a permanent professional studio space to broadcast from and teach others.
