A refreshing, sweet twist on a classic cocktail, the Lychee Sour is seriously impressive. The unusual flavours of the Eastern fruit add extra zest to the traditional Whisky Sour recipe. Give it a go and let us know how you like it!
When in doubt, add bubbles. That’s our thought behind Spritz My Way, our whisky and Prosecco cocktail. It’s a smooth scotch twist on an Italicus Spritz, adding a boost of warming, spiced flavours. Top yours with an orange wheel and sprig of rosemary for something extra.

We wanted to showcase a popular, yet relatively unknown citrus: the bergamot. The flavour is instantly recognisable, and the bittersweet, tart notes harmonise with the red berry and citrus notes of the Glentauchers.

Fig and ginger are the stars of the show, combined with Ballantine’s 30 year old whisky, an outstanding blend of rare scotch whiskies that oozes notes of pear and peach. On top of this sweet whisky cocktail you’ll find fresh ginger and a blowtorched, honeyed fig – because why not?
If you’re a green tea drinker you’ll love this green tea cocktail. The delicious mix of iced green tea and Ballantine’s whisky is simple yet refreshing, and you can whip up a round at home in just two minutes. Add your cooled brew to whisky in a glass of ice and top with soda water.
Sometimes being fancy means enjoying the simple things. And if simple is more your thing, you’ll love a Scotch and Soda drink. The combo of smooth whisky with soda water is a classic for summer nights as the sun sets, afternoon brunches and any occasion where you need a refreshing sip of Ballantine’s.
A Sazerac is a classic cocktail found on the menu of every high-end bar. And of course we’ve put our own spin on it. Meet our Scotch with a Twist, a rich, smoky serve that elevates the greatness of a Sazerac with the rich complexity of our 17 year old whisky. You’ll discover notes of oak, liquorice and vanilla from this sweet, spicy spirit.
Ballantine’s 17 Year Old has both a richness and complex spicy notes, so naturally works fantastically well in a Sazerac-style serve.
TRY ITReady for spring? This cocktail requires some planning, but it’s also what makes it so damn good. The Sakura Highball may well be our fanciest whisky drink, inspired by cherry blossoms that appear once a year. Complete with petal infused ice cubes, fine pear liqueur and our Miltonduff 15 year old single malt, this recipe is one to reach for when you’re in the mood for something swanky.
White Orchid is a drink for sitting and feeling smug with. The natural notes of apple and liquorice found in Ballantine’s 21 year old whisky blend with sweet vanilla to create a complex profile of flavours. Enjoy the praise you’ll receive when you stir this vanilla whisky cocktail together.
