He puts it down to the balanced, sweet and light flavour profile of our finest blend that makes it so easy to drink. So whether you’re a neat freak or a mixing maestro, staying true to your taste is really the best way to enjoy our Scotch.

MAKE IT FRUITY

@supergolden88 mixes up a fruity refresher for summer drinking al-fresco.

Mix up the Ballantine’s Daisy:
50ml Ballantine’s Finest
2 Strawberries, sliced
25ml Lemon Juice
15ml Grenadine
Soda Water

Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice Shake it up Double strain into a tall glass full ice and top with soda water

Make moves like @rainbomino and muddle your way to a fruity medley of melon, ginger and mint. A short and sweet drink that’s perfect for afternoon sipping.

Mix it up:
50ml Ballantine’s Finest
100ml honeydew Melon juice/pulp
5ml simple syrup
A handful of fresh Mint leaves
1 slice of root ginger, chopped
Crushed ice
Frozen Melon balls, root ginger and mint leaves for garnish

In a shaker, muddle mint, melon, and ginger together. Add Ballantine’s and simple syrup before stirring. Add crushed ice before giving it a good shake. Strain into chilled martini glasses and drop in 3-4 frozen melon balls. Garnish with mint and a slice of ginger

@cocktail_journey mixed up a drink we simply can’t refuse, the Toasted Coconut Godfather is a rich, complex and full body cocktail that’s also easy on the eye.

Mix it up:
30ml of Ballantine’s Finest
3 drops of Caramelized Bitters
Toasted Coconut flakes
A spritz of Dry Essence

Pour Ballantine’s into a chilled glass coated with coconut flakes. Add 3 drops of caramelized Bitters Add the finishing touch with a spritz of Dry Essence

BERRY GOOD PAIRINGS

Whisky, and burgers and truffle fries? And at home? That’s what we call winning. @remy.london.barista adds frozen raspberries to his Ballantine’s to give extra freshness.

Follow in @kateveggiedesserts wise footsteps and upgrade your afternoon snack with whisky chocolate cake and berry cocktails.

Hot tip: Marinate berries in a generous shot of Ballantine’s Finest for extra flavour on the cake, and in your drink.

What’s better than whisky-topped cake? More cake! @nknaturalz adds strawberry soda to Ballantine’s over ice and pairs her cocktail with chocolate cheesecake. Dessert and Digestif in one.

TWISTED CLASSICS

Hot Toddies don’t er, have to be hot according to the @thebarmann . He created the Sneaky Orchard, a cool take on the classic cocktail to enjoy in any weather.

Mix it up:
60mls Ballantine’s Finest
5mls Honey
5mls Lemon Juice
2 dashes of Bitters
Top up with your favourite Apple Cider
Garnish with a Lemon Twist and Dehydrated Lemon Wheel

@laurajdawson26 introduced a Whisky Julep to a Raspberry Mojito and came back with what she calls, the Heatwave. Magic.

Mix it up:
In a julep glass, muddle 4/5 raspberries
Pour in 30ml of Ballantine’s Finest
Squeeze in some fresh lime juice & stir
Add crushed ice
Gently pour ginger beer to fill
Garnish with raspberries, then enjoy

You might say a Frozen Daiquiri with Whisky is nuts. We say you’re half right, it’s Hazelnuts in this crazy-drinkable cocktail from the @juicefanatics

Mix it:
3 slices of ripe watermelon, de-seeded
30ml of Ballantine’s Finest
15ml of Hazelnut Liquer
10ml of Sugar Syrup
Handful of Crushed Ice

Add all the above ingredients into a blender
Whizz it up
Pour into chilled Martini glass and garnish with a slice of watermelon

DELICIOUS DUETS

Refreshing and spicy, the Ballantine’s and Ginger Ale is the whisky two-step everyone can get down to, proven here by @certifiednosh

Mix it up:
50ml Ballantine’s Finest
Ginger ale
Cubed ice
Lime wedge

Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in a shot of Ballantine’s. Top up with ginger ale and stir. Squeeze and drop in a large wedge of lime, to serve.

Autumn drinks, but make it fancy. @jemma_w85’s got it all figured out with this simple stunner:

25ml Ballantine’s Finest
Sparkling Apple juice

Pour Ballantine’s into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling apple juice and garnish with a fresh wedge of apple.

@orneiineii Swapped out Ginger Ale for Ginger Beer for a tall refresher with a spicier kick.

Mix it up:
50ml Ballantine’s Finest
Ginger beer
Cubed ice
Lemon wheel for garnish
