FROZEN BLOOD AND SAND
Don’t let the name put you off, this frozen cocktail has depth, sweetness and a citrus hit you’ve got to try to believe.
INGREDIENTS
- 170ml of Ballantine’s 12
- 114ml of fresh blood orange juice (around 4 blood oranges)
- 85ml of sweet vermouth
- 55ml Luxardo cherry syrup (from jar)
- 30ml Grand Marnier
- 4 dashses of Angostura bitters
- 4 slices of blood orange and 4 cherries to garnish
MAKE IT
- Pour Ballantine’s, blood orange juice, vermouth, cherry syrup, Grand Marnier and Angostura bitters into a blender with 4 cups of ice
- Blend until smooth
- Divide between 4 coupe champagne glasses and garnish
