FROZEN BLOOD AND SAND

Don’t let the name put you off, this frozen cocktail has depth, sweetness and a citrus hit you’ve got to try to believe.

INGREDIENTS

170ml of Ballantine’s 12
114ml of fresh blood orange juice (around 4 blood oranges)
85ml of sweet vermouth
55ml Luxardo cherry syrup (from jar)
30ml Grand Marnier
4 dashses of Angostura bitters
4 slices of blood orange and 4 cherries to garnish

MAKE IT

1. Pour Ballantine’s, blood orange juice, vermouth, cherry syrup, Grand Marnier and Angostura bitters into a blender with 4 cups of ice
2. Blend until smooth
3. Divide between 4 coupe champagne glasses and garnish
